Four West Studio is an art studio in Portland, Maine producing murals, hand-painted signs, and graphic design for businesses and organizations. Our purpose is to not only help our clients stand out, but to amp up entire neighborhoods by bringing color and life to the streets. We know that communities grow where the art goes.

​​The studio is a project by Laura Lowe, a multidisciplinary artist and professional mural painter. Her work spans commercial art, oil painting, illustration, printmaking, typography, digital art, sign painting, and graphic design–with a style merging geometric shapes + lettering with organic subject matter. Her pieces are often influenced by the artist’s travels to distant places, where she absorbs the unique landscapes, colors, textures, and shapes found there.
